COME TRAIN WITH US AT KILLARNEY
Join us every Tuesday afternoon for an hour’s training in a traffic-free environment. Structured training (including warm-up and interval laps) on the Killarney Motor Racing track near Milnerton takes place from 18h00-19h00, with registration from 17h30. Free for PPA members who wear their PPA seeded numbers; R50 for non-members. At the end of the season, the top three attendees will each receive free PPA membership for the next year! Please keep an eye on the PPA Facebook page – if training gets cancelled due to adverse weather, we’ll announce it on Facebook by 15h00 on the day. You can collect your seeded numbers from our offices or at any PPA road event. If you do not have a seeded number, download or print your current PPA membership card for presentation at the track and you will not pay the entry fee.
CAPE TOWN CYCLE TOUR SEEDING BENEFIT
Participation in any PPA event throughout the year and your finishing time will now be given a significant bonus weighing that will apply to your Cycle Tour seeding (note: it’s only for the Cycle Tour and won’t apply to normal event seeding).
Upcountry members will get the Cycle Tour seeding benefit by participating in road cycling events, in their area that are listed on the Racetec calendar.
Our road social rides take place every Saturday morning at 06h30 from the PPA office at 9 Hill Park Lane, Mowbray.

LIGHTHOUSE 2 LIGHTHOUSE MTB EVENT
In addition to its own unique community and family-based flavour, The L2L is the ideal training ride for those who have entered endurance events later in the year. If you are training for the Cape Epic, this is the perfect event to fine tune your endurance over non-technical yet challenging terrain. It’s also a step-up for those cyclists who want to tackle a bigger challenge than the one-day Karoo to Coast; or for cyclists looking to tackle ultra-long distance events like the Transbaviaans later in the year.
