MyPPA Help
You have successfully registered and logged in to the MyPPA section. Now you are thinking, now what, what can I do?
Once you have logged in you will be taken to a page with your latest 10 results, as well as showing your PPA Membership Number, and a link to the My Membership page.
The My Membership page allows you to see your current PPA Membership details. If you find that some of your details have changed and are in need of updating, fill in the form to send an email to PPA to update your details.
My Results, shows you all of your results according to your PPA Membership Number.
My Account takes you to your My Profile page where you are able to do various things.
My Profile: This will be shown to the people that you have decided to show information to. If you have filled in your location, it will also show a small Google map with your location pin pointed on it.
My Activity: See how active you have been on the site lately with your status updates.
My Friends Activity: Shows all the activity of your friends that have been active on the site lately. Note: The functionality to invite friends to link to you, will be added in the near future.
All Activity: Shows the activity of all members of the site.
My Friends: This functionality will soon be added to the site and will show a directory of all of your friends, and allow you to remove them or send them an email via the website.
Profile Photo: Allows you to upload a photo onto your profile. You require Adobe Flash to be installed to use this feature.
Personal: Specify who can see information about you, tell them when your birthday is and where you are located.
Preferences: Change what notification emails you are sent, etc.
The Edit Profile page allows you to update your profile, as well as change your password, etc.
MyPPA Mail (soon active on the site) allows you to send mail to people registered on the site, just like Facebook.
The Members Directory allows you to search for friends online and make them your friends by clicking on there name and sending them a request. Please note that the ‘invite a friend’ functionality will soon be active.
You may have also noticed this panel on the bottom right of your screen. This gives you an overview of things that you can do. The first icon tells you how many of your friends are currently online, if none are online there will be a O in the icon (this functionality is not yet active). You can also chat to friends via the chat feature.
The second icon tells you if you have mail on the site with a number inside the envelope. Click on the third icon to be taken to your My Friends page to view all of your friends. The speech bubble allows you to talk to people that are logged onto the site. If somebody types a message to the site it will turn green.
The last icon in the panel allows you to either log off or show yourself as offline if you don’t want people to know that you are online.
