Trail building and repairs
Over the years, the PPA has sponsored and/or commissioned the building and repairing of many kilometres of singletrack, including several routes in upper Tokai, Majik Forest, Jonkershoek, Lebanon and Groenlandberg in the Western Cape, as well as trails around Ballito Bay in Kwazulu-Natal.
The Association is currently (2009) funding an investigation into the creation of some several hundred kilometres of new MTB trails in the greater Durbenville Hills area.
We are also contributing to a "Source2Sea" biodiversity study to explore linking several "Green belts" and routes in the southern Peninsula, working closely with the Tokai and Constantia Green Belt Associations in this regard.
If you know of an area that needs urgent attention, please drop us an email.
