Cycling tips from members:
I was just looking at the MTB section on your new and improved website and it occurred to me that included in the code of conduct should be that one should keep left when on jeep tracks and even when confronted with another cyclist coming from the opposite direction on single tracks. I recently had a head-on collision due to someone taking a tight corner on his right. 
Also, some circular routes have a recommended direction in which to ride, Silvermine for example is anti-clockwise – following this will also make it safer as one already has to negotiate around hikers and dogs, let alone MTBs coming from the opposite direction. - Derry
